Once again I have had the honor of being invited to participate in this Exhibition with my textile works, as well as holding a wet felting workshop on March 27 in the afternoon.

The experience has been magnificent, the organization has been fantastic and the quality of the works exhibited is extremely high.

The summary of this event has been:

The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Carlos Baño, the deputy for Social Welfare of the Alicante Provincial Council, Teresa Belmonte, and the general director of Commerce, Crafts and Consumption, Rosana Seguí, have inaugurated the II Crafts Exhibition of the province of Alicante. Our history in your hands, which was held from March 24 to April 1 in the Exhibition Hall of the Provincial Palace. The Councilor for Commerce of the Alicante City Council, Lidia López, and the president of the Crafts Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, Matilde Hernández, also participated in the event.

In this exhibition, organized by the Provincial Council of Alicante and the Chamber of Commerce, sectors such as ceramics, vegetable fiber, musical instruments, jewelry, wood, fur and leather, textiles, glass, footwear, toys, bookbinding or floral decorations, through the work of 23 artisans from Elche, Ibi, Elda, Calpe, Biar, Agost, San Joan, Aigües, San Vicente del Raspeig or Alicante.

During the period that the exhibition lasts, you can see six demonstration workshops run by artisans of recognized prestige who have an artisan qualification document (DCA), in specialties such as wood, macramé, felt, patchwork, leather goods and ceramics.

Carlos Baño has highlighted that this is a "unique exhibition in which anyone who comes to it will be able to discover exclusive and unrepeatable pieces, which come to us from all over the province by renowned creators, museums, associations and artisans".

The president of the Chamber has thanked the commitment and support of the Provincial Council of Alicante to make this exhibition possible, as well as the collaboration of the Crafts Center of the Valencian Community and the municipalities of Alicante and Elche, among others.
