I'm very happy!

Yesterday the Valencian Community Handicraft Center informed me that I was a finalist in the 2020 “Valencian Community Handicraft” Awards in its 7th edition, in the Vanguard section. It will be open to visitors shortly in the temporary exhibition hall of the Centro de Artesanía de la C.V., c / Hospital, 7 (access to the MuVIM pedestrian plaza) 46001 - Valencia.

The characteristics of this award are:

AVANT-GARDE AWARD

Object. The purpose of this award is to reward works characterized by their high value

creative and its innovative spirit from the functional and formal perspective.

Evaluation and weighting criteria. The following aspects will be evaluated:

- The adaptation or reinterpretation of a traditional design in its formal aspects and / or

functional, and / or the innovative use of traditional materials or processes. - 50%

- The technical and formal quality. - 30%

- Adaptation to the market and commercial potential. - 20%

It is a great honor for me to be part of the 10 leading artisan companies in the Valencian Community in terms of innovation and modernization of textile crafts.
